Arlys DeClusin, 70, of Bemidji died Friday, July 13, 2012 surrounded by her family in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.

Memorial Services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the Calvary Lutheran Church in Bemidji, MN with Rev. Bill Beyer officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment of her urn will be at the Turtle River Township-Southarm Cemetery in Bemidji, MN under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.

She was born on August 30, 1941, in Gonvick, MN, the daughter of Damond and Gena Westrum. She lived all her early life in the Clearbrook, Bagley, and the Bemidji area. Arlys was an active member of the Calvary Lutheran Church in Bemidji. She enjoyed the company of her many friends, playing cards, working in her meticulously kept yard, and annually traveling to New Mexico.

She is survived by: Children, Jeff Smith of Coeur d’ Alene , ID, Brian DeClusin of Woodland, CA, Brad Lindell of Bemidji, MN, Cheryl Kempf of Forest Lake, MN, Barb Hommerding of Idledale, CO, Rita Swaney of Harrison, PA, Debbie Deppa of Bemidji, MN, Brothers, Dan Westrum of Stacy, MN, Ron Westrum of Elk River, MN 18 Grandchildren, and 14 Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene DeClusin in January of 2000.
